This resource explores the theme of the Pope’s World Day of Peace message for 2025. The theme is ‘Forgive us our trespasses: grant us your peace’. Pax Christi promotes the message in parishes and schools in January. The message talks about hope, justice and forgiveness to bring peace and ties in with the Year of Jubilee. This resource invites students to think about some of the themes and further activities are suggested in the resource.

This children’s liturgy resource was produced for Peace Sunday 2025 on 19th January. On this day, Pax Christi promotes the Pope’s message for the World Day of Peace. The theme of the 2025 message is ‘Forgive us our trespasses: grant us your peace’ and reflects on hope, justice and forgiveness to bring about peace.
